Position Responsibilities In this role, you’ll combine technical leadership with hands-on coding to build scalable, high-impact healthcare technology. You will: Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and improve existing functionality.

Preferred Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and collaborative spirit: Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and improve existing functionality. Write and test high quality code based on design specification and product requirements with minimal support from team and senior engineers on the team. Participate in planning and design discussions with product managers and designers. Write clean, maintainable code using technologies like Python, React, and AWS. Conduct testing and debugging software to ensure high quality. Become a subject matter expert on your team’s products. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment. Code of Conduct: Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of software development experience. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred. Previous Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) experience preferred. Git code management skills with experience working in a mono repository preferred. Strong Python (Flask/SQLAlchemy) and TypeScript (React) experience. Experience with PostgreSQL database knowledge, e.g. common table expressions, windowing functions, views, stored procedures, full-text or geospatial indexing techniques. Proficiency targeting infrastructure as code with a security mindset (AWS, Terraform). Participation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). A history of delivering complex web applications to the cloud. Strong knowledge of unit testing across multiple paradigms. Experience working with microservices/an API-based application paradigm. This position description is designed to be flexible, allowing management the opportunity to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities as needed to best meet organizational goals. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range. The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as: experience, knowledge, skills, and location of the job.
