Your opportunity and responsibilities As a translation and review expert, you’ll apply your skills to a range of technical and creative documents in procurement, HR, IT, policy, finance and other fields. Among other activities, you will: Translate and review texts for DCC service lines and business units Perform translation quality control to ensure concordance, accuracy, clarity, etc. Support development and maintenance of a comprehensive terminology management database Support development and implementation of innovative translation processes Stay up to date with DCC-related terminology Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal clients, external suppliers and networks Your skills and experience Minimum: university degree in translation or related field Experience: At least four years in editing, translation and use of translation software, preferably in an agency setting Professional working knowledge of:translation software and terminology management databases current translation trends and best practices project- and client-management best practices As the successful candidate, you may fulfill your role in hybrid mode (2 days a week in the office) if you live in the National Capital Region. You may also work remotely in Canada (within easy commuting distance of a major centre or travel hub).
