Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential 0pportunity for a Remote Medical Support Assistant, supporting the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT. Position Details: 100% Remote - must live within the communting area Regular business hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm No Nights, Weekends, or Holidays Benefits elitible position with 11 Paid Federal Holidays and PTO Avalable Qualifications: U.S. residency required. High School diploma or GED. Strong oral and written English skills; basic medical terminology preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to type at least 50 WPM and work with electronic medical records. Strong organizational skills; able to work independently and prioritize tasks. Ability to resolve customer concerns accurately and timely. No health restrictions that interfere with job duties. Job Duties: Coordinate patient care and scheduling with internal and community providers. Ensure timely and accurate patient communication and appointment scheduling. Validate and update patient demographic information. Process medical records and integrate data into VA systems (CPRS, VistA). Manage community care consults using VA systems (HSRM, PPMS). Answer and respond to phone inquiries professionally and promptly. Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) daily. Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and VA staff. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
