The Opportunity Location: Remote Experience: 5+ Years Role: Contract Sportskeeda is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Video Manager to lead our video content strategy and production efforts. You will play a pivotal role in creating high-impact, engaging video assets that drive audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility across platforms. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in the full video production lifecycle, strong leadership skills, and a solid understanding of how AI tools can enhance video quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Video Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive video content strategies aligned with Sportskeeda’s editorial calendar, audience preferences, and business goals. Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and coordinate with video editors, producers, and video executives to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content. Performance Management: Track, analyze, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as views, watch time, engagement rate, retention, CTR, and conversions. Use data-driven insights to improve content performance. Asset Management: Plan and execute strategies for all video assets (short-form, long-form, Reels, YouTube, social media, and platform-specific content) to maximize reach and ROI. Innovation with AI: Leverage the latest AI tools for video production, including AI scripting, voiceovers, editing, upscaling, thumbnail generation, and automation workflows to increase efficiency and quality. Quality Control: Ensure all videos meet high editorial and production standards while maintaining Sportskeeda’s brand voice and visual identity. Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with industry trends, platform algorithms, and emerging technologies in video content creation. Requirements 5+ years of experience in video production, video content strategy, or digital media (sports/media background is a strong advantage). Proven track record of managing video teams and delivering high-performing video campaigns. Strong knowledge of the complete video production process — from pre-production (planning & scripting) to post-production (editing & optimization). Deep understanding of AI tools in video production (e.g., Descript, Runway ML, CapCut AI, Adobe Firefly, ElevenLabs, etc.) and how they can be applied to create high-quality, scalable video content. Excellent analytical skills with experience in tracking and improving video KPIs. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative mindset with a passion for sports content and digital storytelling. Preferred Skills Experience working in fast-paced digital media or sports media companies. Proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.). Knowledge of YouTube SEO, social media algorithms, and short-form content optimization.
