JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE: As a Procurement Europe Deployment Lead within Europe Supply Chain Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful deployment of S4Hana across all European Sourcing Units and the Europe Supply Chain Hub (NL). The role is responsible for ensuring the full establishment of Supply Chain Finance (SCF) processes and capabilities from the Procurement & Materials P&L perspective, while ensuring that GBS functions are fully prepared, staffed, and capable of delivering ongoing SCF support. Acting as a strategic bridge between Procurement, the OPUS program team, GBS, and the Europe Supply Chain Finance team, this leader will manage deployment activities, ensure operational readiness, track critical deliverables, and drive accountability across multiple stakeholders. The role is also critical in building long‑term SCF capabilities, strengthening standard processes, and enabling future developments aligned with the Europe SC strategy. This role drives consistency, efficiency, and transparency across the region by centralizing, standardizing, and continuously improving critical processes within the Materials Controlling domain. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE 1. S4H / OPUS Deployment Leadership Lead the end-to-end S4Hana (OPUS) deployment for procurement Europe within the Europe SC Hub. Ensure Material cost requirements are embedded into the design, build, testing, cutover, and stabilization phases. Coordinate readiness assessments and track deployment milestones to ensure the SCHUB is fully prepared for go-live. Coordinate transfer pricing process together with Global and GBS taking NSR central cost into account. Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and drive cross-functional resolution. 2. Supply Chain Finance Process & Capability Setup Shape and implement the SCF operating model from the Procurement perspective for the SC Hub. Define and deploy standard SCF ways of working, controls, data requirements, and performance measures. Ensure alignment of SCF processes with Procurement frameworks, OPUS templates, and corporate standards. 3. Drive GBS Preparation & Staffing from SCF Procurement end Ensure GBS teams are fully equipped to support post-go-live SCF operations from a Europe perspective. Collaborate with GBS leadership to define resource needs, roles, training, and service levels. Track GBS readiness metrics and escalate gaps impacting deployment timelines or quality. 4. Program & Stakeholder Management Drive structured program management: action logs, dependencies, risk mitigation, documentation, governance routines. Maintain clear, proactive communication across all stakeholders on progress, issues, and required decisions. Hold accountable the responsible teams for timely delivery of commitments. 5. Business Partnering Across Functions Act as the main European connection point between: Procurement leads Regional and Global. OPUS Program teams GBS Service Delivery Europe Supply Chain Finance Translate Procurement requirements into OPUS system designs and GBS service models. Support site leadership teams in interpreting financial impacts and operational changes. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Experiences & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Finance, Procurement, or similar operational leadership roles. Experience in large-scale ERP deployment (SAP/S4H strongly preferred). International / multi-site experience required. Skills Strong project/program management expertise with proven experience deploying major ERP or digital transformation initiatives (e.g., SAP/S4H) or porject management in general. Deep understanding of Manufacturing Excellence, Supply Chain Finance, and E2E supply chain operations.‑to‑end supply chain operations. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including ability to work across multiple countries and functions. Ability to simplify complexity, drive clarity, and establish accountability. Experience working with GBS/shared service models is strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. High level of resilience, ownership, and problem solving orientation.‑solving orientation.
