Strategic Account Manager – Long-Term & Short-Term Care Institutions | Essity Health & Medical Latvia

In Latvia, our Health & Medical business is strengthening its focus on the institutional care segment, and we are looking for a commercially strong, market-savvy professional to help shape this journey. The role of the Strategic Account Manager – Long-Term & Short-Term Care Institutions is to implement business strategies with major Home Health Care accounts to promote brand awareness, secure and grow profitable business; develop and maintain strategic business relationships, provide on-going support to high value clients, and identify new revenue opportunities to expand penetration with this channel. If this is you, we’d love to talk. What you will do Lead Essity’s strategic development in Latvia’s long-term and short-term care institution segment. Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers, healthcare professionals, and institutional stakeholders. Deliver practical product training, educational sessions, and presentations for internal teams and external healthcare audiences. Support and further develop our education platform through seminars, lectures, podcasts, and other training formats. Create and improve educational materials that help raise quality, expand reach, and simplify learning for participants. Support product evaluations and testing initiatives that demonstrate quality and clinical value. Develop & Drive a value-based purchasing approach. Protect and grow the existing customer base while identifying and winning new business opportunities. Take an active role in public tenders and national procurement processes within the care sector. Contribute to the broader development of Essity Health & Medical in Latvia as a key specialist in the market. Who you are You understand the long-term and short-term care market in Latvia, including its structure, stakeholders, and decision-making processes. You already have relevant connections or credibility in the care, healthcare, or institutional sector. You bring a background in health, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, business management, or another relevant field. You are structured, commercially driven, and able to turn strategy into action. You are confident speaking in public and can deliver engaging trainings, lectures, and presentations. You are strong in process development and can help build smarter, more scalable ways of working. You are comfortable working with tenders, account development, and cross-functional collaboration. You hold a Category B driving licence and are comfortable travelling within Latvia. You are confident using Microsoft Office and other digital tools in your daily work. Experience in healthcare sales, education, tendering, or institutional account management will be considered a strong advantage.
