Your day at NTT DATA As a Senior Architect Secure Infrastructure (m/w/d) at NTT DATA, you'll delve into the core of our clients' challenges, working closely with them to craft strategies, transformational designs, and an architectural vision for highly complex solutions. Your role is pivotal in providing multi-technology consulting services, ensuring that we are at the forefront of application software, infrastructure, and related technology components. You'll take charge of developing complex solution architectures specific to business, infrastructure, or functional areas. By evaluating alternative architectures, you'll weigh cost, performance, and scalability to produce detailed specifications for both cloud-based and on-premises solutions. Your insights will drive the preparation of technical plans and design principles. Client engagement is at the core of your work. By thoroughly understanding client requirements, collecting DATA, and delivering detailed analysis and problem resolution, you'll build trusting relationships. You'll also monitor the external environment to gather intelligence on emerging technologies, sharing your insights through reports and technology roadmaps. Design multiple views to address the needs of various stakeholders, ensuring that both functional and non-functional requirements are met. Lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and continuously review and improve your designs. Your knowledge will contribute to the development of new go-to-market services and provide specialist input on relevant verticals. You won't just be a solo player; you'll mentor junior Solution Architects, fostering a collaborative environment. Your role will span both technical levels within the enterprise architecture and the value chain, developing holistic and integrated solutions that truly make a difference. To thrive in this role, you need to have:Extensive knowledge in multi-vendor service integrations and cross-functional software, operating systems, and infrastructure designs. Proficiency in how specific infrastructures and application software are deployed in accordance with relevant methodologies and frameworks. Ability to leverage extended specialist knowledge of reference architectures and maintain an awareness of trends and developments in technology domains. Extensive professional experience in technical, IT, or operations roles within a large-scale, multinational technology services environment. Proven experience in client engagement, consulting, and change management. Background in agile development environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with stellar interpersonal skills for building robust working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as sales, product, and delivery. A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
