POSITION TITLE Director, Clinical Educator Team Location: This position may be performed remotely with the flexibility and willingness to travel as needed (30 – 50%). Position Summary The Director, Clinical Educator Team, manages, leads and develops a team of field-based Clinical Educators who guide patients and caregivers through therapy initiation and long-term continuation. This leader is responsible for building a high-performing, patient-centered team that operates with empathy, urgency, compliance discipline, and ownership. This role ensures patients experience seamless onboarding, clear education using Praxis-approved materials, and proactive barrier removal throughout their therapy journey. The Manager partners cross-functionally with Patient Services, Market Access, Medical, Commercial, and Specialty Pharmacy partners to continuously improve the patient experience and drive measurable impact. The ideal candidate brings experience leading field-based patient support teams in rare disease or CNS disorders and thrives in a fast-moving, accountability-driven environment. Primary Responsibilities Recruit, develop, manage and lead a team of Clinical Educators, setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of ownership, caring candor, and results. Establish performance standards and measurable objectives aligned to therapy initiation, persistence, patient satisfaction, and quality documentation. Coach team members on effective in-home and community-based engagement, compliant education delivery, and cross-functional coordination. Ensure consistent and compliant use of the Patient Services CRM and patient services platforms to document interactions, track barriers, and generate actionable insights. Partner closely with Care Coordinators, Field Reimbursement Managers, Specialty Pharmacies, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination across the patient journey. Monitor field trends, patient feedback, and operational challenges, translating insights into process improvements and scalable best practices. Maintain high standards of compliance, ensuring all team activities adhere to approved materials, HIPAA requirements, and company policies. Serve as the voice of the Clinical Educator team to the home office, contributing to strategic planning and patient experience optimization. Qualifications and Key Success Factors Bachelor’s degree required; advanced clinical or healthcare degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in patient services, rare disease support, CNS-focused programs, or similar field-based healthcare roles. 3+ years of people leadership experience managing field-based teams. Demonstrated success building and scaling patient-facing support programs. Strong understanding of specialty pharmacy workflows, access coordination, and therapy onboarding processes. Exceptional coaching skills with the ability to deliver direct, developmental feedback. Analytical mindset with experience using CRM and operational data to drive performance improvement. High emotional intelligence paired with disciplined execution and accountability. Deep commitment to patient impact and continuous improvement. Experience with CNS-focused programs is strongly preferred. The physical and mental requirements of our roles include but are not limited to regular use of a computer, devices or other office equipment, clear communication, and occasional movement. Expectation This role requires regular engagement with field-based team members, including ride-alongs and regional travel as needed. Travel may range from 30–50% depending on team geography. The Manager is expected to operate with urgency, transparency, and accountability while fostering psychological safety and high performance.
