Director - Operations Product Owner
Job Description: WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO: Radiology Partners, through its owned and affiliated practices, is a leading radiology practice in the U.S., serving hospitals and other healthcare facilities across the nation. As a physician-led and physician-owned practice, our mission is to transform radiology by innovating across clinical value, technology, service, and economics, while elevating the role of radiology and radiologists in healthcare. Using a proven healthcare services model, Radiology Partners provides consistent, high-quality care to patients, while delivering enhanced value to the hospitals, clinics, imaging centers and referring physicians we serve. DIRECTOR, OPERATIONS PRODUCT OWNER - POSITION SUMMARY: Serve as the business owner and strategic lead for the Scheduling & Capacity ecosystem, accountable for how forecasting, scheduling, and compensation capabilities enable operational performance, clinician experience, and financial outcomes across the enterprise. Define the business vision, operating objectives, and success measures for scheduling and capacity management, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and evolving operational needs. Focus on outcomes such as coverage reliability, productivity, cost discipline, forecast accuracy, and reduced operational friction — not just system delivery. Act as the primary bridge between operations and technology, translating business problems, constraints, and tradeoffs into clear priorities for IT, analytics, and product teams. Guide sequencing and scope to ensure solutions are pragmatic, scalable, and deliver tangible operational value. Partner closely with Operations leadership, Practice Directors, Finance, Analytics, Compensation, and Change Management to drive adoption, consistency, and real‑world usability across practices. Interpret model outputs and insights, challenge assumptions, and ensure recommendations are understandable and actionable for frontline users. Build and lead a community of excellence for scheduling and capacity management — establishing common ways of working, best practices, training, and feedback loops. Monitor actual‑vs‑forecast performance, surface optimization opportunities, and continuously refine both process and system usage over time. DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 7+ years of experience in operations strategy, management consulting, business leadership, or product‑adjacent roles, with a strong track record of owning complex, cross‑functional initiatives from problem definition through execution and sustained results. Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required. Demonstrated ability to frame ambiguous business problems, develop clear points of view, and drive structured decision‑making using data, judgment, and stakeholder input — especially in environments with competing priorities and imperfect information. Strong business and financial acumen, with experience translating analytical insights into operational decisions, tradeoffs, and action plans that improve efficiency, performance, or user experience at scale . Experience working with technology, analytics, or AI‑enabled solutions as a thoughtful partner and customer (not necessarily as a builder). Able to ask the right questions, prioritize intelligently, and ensure solutions solve real business problems (no coding required). Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage executives, operators, and technical teams alike — and a strong bias toward practical outcomes over theoretical perfection. Comfort operating as a general athlete — moving fluidly between strategy, execution, and change leadership; diving deep when needed; and influencing without formal authority across functions . WHY RADIOLOGY PARTNERS: Competitive Benefits package – Eligibility starts the month after hire, with tiered options to choose from.
