Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Business Development Leader to join our growing team in Stockton, CA! The Senior Vice President, BSIB – Professional, Executive & Specialty Lines is responsible for driving profitable organic growth across all Professional, Executive & Specialty Lines within Bridge Specialty Group. This role focuses on growth strategy execution, market leadership, producer enablement, and identification of top industry talent, working in close partnership with Business leaders, Underwriting leaders, and Distribution teams. How You Will Contribute: Drives profitable organic growth across Professional, Executive & Specialty Lines by executing disciplined strategies, identifying opportunities across products, markets, and channels, and strengthening differentiated market positioning. Ensures a clear, compelling value proposition that reduces price-driven competition, increases retail engagement, and enhances BSG’s perceived specialty expertise. Enables producers to deliver full-solution selling by leveraging BSG’s capabilities, promoting coordinated, team-based approaches and operational responsiveness. Success is reflected in stronger producer confidence, improved deal outcomes, and deeper retail relationships. Identifies, attracts, and supports top specialty talent while strengthening leadership pipelines and long-term capability needs. Demonstrated through successful hiring, integration, and improved succession visibility. Connects teams across regions, brands, and functions to drive alignment, break down silos, and ensure consistent execution of growth initiatives. Reinforces accountability, data-driven decisions, and measurable outcomes from concept through delivery. Acts as a strategic thought partner with strong executive presence, influencing without authority to align stakeholders and shape direction. Combines market expertise, strategic judgment, collaboration, and clear communication to drive enterprise-wide impact. Licenses and Certifications: Insurance license(s) and relevant industry certifications preferred. Skills & Experience to Be Successful: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus on wholesale brokerage and binding. Proven track record of leadership, sales, and operational excellence. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Flexibility to travel up to 80%. This position requires travel that may involve driving a personal or rental vehicle. Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report results at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, along with maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages, are required. Pay Range $300k - $300k Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
