Job Summary The Director, Business Development, is an individual contributor responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships within the financial services industry. This role requires a highly experienced professional who leads through influenced business development efforts end-to-end while collaborating cross-functionally to shape strategy, solutions, and market approach. Key Responsibilities: Own and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company growth objectives. This person would be focused on the larger end of our market – banks with $5B+ AUM, ideally $10B+. Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within financial institutions, fintechs, and related sectors Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor Lead the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, solutioning, proposal development, and contract negotiation Drive strategic conversations with clients, translating business needs into tailored solutions Partner closely with internal teams (consulting, product, marketing) to develop and deliver high-impact client engagements Influence go-to-market strategy, service offerings, and client solutions through market insight and client feedback Establish and cultivate strategic alliances and partnerships to expand market presence Representing the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements Track and manage pipeline activity, revenue forecasts, and performance metrics
Qualifications
