Treatment/SCADA Lead
Treatment/SCADA Lead Highline Water District has a career opportunity for a Treatment/SCADA Lead in the Operations Department. Under general direction of the Operations Supervisor, the Treatment/SCADA Lead maintains the efficient and continued operation of the District's source, treatment, and water distribution facilities. This role requires in-depth knowledge of water operations, treatment processes, equipment, and SCADA systems, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, industry standards, and District policies and procedures in the Operations Department. Responsibilities include leading a crew of three individuals in the maintenance and operation of 3 wells, 2 treatment plants, 8 pump stations, 8 storage tanks, 31 pressure reducing valves, and all associated equipment. An ideal candidate will have 7+ years of water related experience with 5+ years of experience in water quality and treatment, Water Treatment Plant Operator 2, Water Distribution Manager 3, Cross Connection Supervisor, Backflow Assembly Tester, and Class A Commercial Driver's License with a tanker endorsement. The position also requires residence within 25 miles of the District Headquarters. Salary Range: $89,208-$115,956 per year. Position placement and pay step is dependent on qualifications and experience.
