About the Role

As an Evening Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our transportation documentation systems. You will be responsible for entering Bills of Lading (BOL) information from scanned documents at our service centers directly into our AS400 system. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure seamless operations across our national network of service centers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys repetitive work, can maintain focus under pressure, and takes pride in producing error-free results. While this role begins with a physical presence requirement at our corporate office, high-performing employees may have the opportunity to work from home contingent upon meeting all required metrics and at the company's sole discretion.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Entry Excellence: Enter Bills of Lading (BOL) information into the AS400 system for numerous customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all information is accurately captured from scanned documents.
• Quality Assurance: Identify and correct any errors, discrepancies, or incomplete information on Bills of Lading prior to entering data into the system, maintaining the highest standards of data integrity.
• Production Standards: Achieve and maintain high production levels while consistently delivering accurate results, balancing speed with precision.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional Service 2.0 support to both internal and external customers, addressing inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Communication: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve any documentation issues and ensure smooth workflow operations.
• Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards related to data entry and documentation handling.
• Adaptability: Be prepared to work at the corporate office as required, with the understanding that work-from-home eligibility is contingent upon meeting all performance metrics and at the company's sole discretion.

Essential Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience, preferably in the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with AS400 system is required; must be able to navigate and enter data efficiently.
• Typing Speed: Must be able to type at least 50 words per minute with zero errors.
• Accuracy: Exceptional accuracy in typing and spelling is mandatory; errors in this role can have significant operational impacts.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and errors in shipping documents.
• Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and stay focused on tasks.
