The Infor PLM Consultant plays a key role in assisting our customers with the implementation of Infor’s PLM for Discrete customers. The implementation consultant leads all phases of the project execution including requirements gathering, solution design, application configuration, system testing, education, and adoption. Location: This is a remote role requiring travel to customers sites when needed. A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Provide consulting services for Infor’s PLM for Discrete Manufacturing customers on implementation and upgrade projects.
  • Participates in the full lifecycle of a customer implementation such as Prospect Presentations, Discovery, Estimate Development, Detailed Requirement Gathering, Solution Design, System Configuration, Testing, Documentation, and Training ensuring compliance with Infor methodology.
  • Develops a deep understanding of the capabilities and limitations of Infor software to properly and creatively utilize features to meet customer needs. Develops knowledge of the application architecture, database schema, and development tools.
  • Works directly with the customer’s project team to ascertain their business needs and translate those needs into Requirements and then Design Specifications.

What You Will Need: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, or IT discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • PLM for Discrete experience preferred
  • Product Development experience preferred
  • Previous consulting/advisory role experience preferred
  • Strong customer facing skills
  • Ability to work/collaborate with a variety of PCG consultants on project teams and Project Managers
