Overview
ComOps is seeking an experienced freelance / contractor consultant with deep, hands-on experience working within Oracle OPERA Cloud PMS environments. This role will support the configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of OXI and OHIP integrations, exports, and data workflows for hospitality clients, primarily focused on integrations with customer experience, analytics, and operational platforms. The ideal candidate has direct experience configuring OPERA Cloud interfaces, working with OPERA Reporting & Analytics exports, and collaborating with both hotel operations and technical teams to support enterprise-grade data integrations. IMPORTANT: This role requires direct, hands-on experience with Oracle OPERA Cloud PMS. Experience limited to legacy OPERA versions, general PMS experience, or non-Oracle hospitality systems will not be considered sufficient. Candidates must have real-world experience configuring and supporting OXI and/or OHIP integrations within OPERA Cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support OPERA Cloud integrations utilizing:
- OXI
- OHIP
- Reporting & Analytics exports
- SFTP/API-based workflows
- Assist with design and validation of data exports for operational and CX-related use cases
- Troubleshoot interface, export, and data delivery issues across OPERA Cloud environments
- Work with client IT, operations, and vendor teams to validate integration requirements and data mappings
- Support implementation and testing of automated exports and interface workflows
- Assist with documentation, configuration guidance, and operational best practices
- Support post-launch troubleshooting and ongoing optimization efforts
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
- Direct, hands-on experience working within Oracle OPERA Cloud PMS
- Experience configuring or supporting:
- OXI interfaces
- OHIP integrations
- Reporting & Analytics exports
- Experience troubleshooting OPERA Cloud integration and export issues
- Strong understanding of hospitality operational data structures and workflows
- Experience working with:
- APIs
- SFTP
- flat-file exports
- data mappings
- Experience working with enterprise hospitality organizations and multiple properties
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
IMPORTANT: Candidates without direct Oracle OPERA Cloud experience will not be considered. General hospitality IT experience, legacy on-prem OPERA exposure, or PMS experience with other platforms alone is not sufficient. Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience supporting Medallia, CX, analytics, or customer data integrations
- Experience with hospitality data environments and guest journey workflows
- Familiarity with Oracle Hospitality APIs and integration architecture
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment
- Experience supporting multi-property or enterprise hotel organizations
