Overview

At Risk Placement Services (RPS), we’re one of the largest Specialty Wholesale Insurance Brokerage firms in the U.S., thriving on teamwork, creativity, and responsiveness. As a Program Manager, you’ll lead a multi-layered team in underwriting, management, and selling of insurance products offered by binding and brokerage carriers, with a strong focus on writing new business How You'll Make An Impact In this role, you’ll oversee production goal assignments, manage underwriting decisions, and guide your team in evaluating risks. You’ll also play a key role in developing relationships with contracted brokers and ensuring your team delivers exceptional service. Here are some ways you’ll contribute:

• Manage and mentor a team of underwriters and brokers to achieve production goals.
• Oversee the underwriting of individual insurance applications, ensuring compliance with carrier guidelines.
• Instruct managers and underwriters on evaluating risks, including property value, location, usage, and safety features.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contracted brokers to drive new business.
• Orient, train, and review the work of team members to ensure high performance.

About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required. Prior management experience required.

The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
