Key Responsibilities
* Handle high-volume client requests, including inbound calls, emails, and chats, in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency, using arenaflex's pharmacy information entry methodology and rules
- Enter patient and medication data into a suitable system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Investigate missing medication data, decipher clinical truncations (SIG codes), and resolve data entry-related exceptions
- Handle correspondence with patients, including outbound calls to prescribers and patients, on a case-by-case basis
- Resolve external outliers by reviewing, gathering data, making recommendations, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements
- Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and remotely, and identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as needed
- Maintain a dynamic pharmacist license or certification within the first 90 days of employment and keep a valid pharmacist license or certification
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills, including:
+ Starting and closing a computer + Using a mouse to point and click + Starting and closing programs + Switching between programs + Saving files + Printing documents + Accessing data online
- Basic web browsing skills, including:
+ Opening a browser + Typing URLs in the address bar + Using a search engine + Bookmarking a webpage + Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons + Completing online forms
- Intermediate-level keyboarding skills, including:
+ Typing at least 25 words per minute + Typing by memory + Organizing files
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
* At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center setting
- At least 1.5 years of pharmacy experience with a declaration/enrollment by the state as conceded by the State Board for Pharmacies or broadly recognized certification agency
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction
- Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills, including:
+ Typing at least 35 words per minute + Typing by memory + Organizing files
- Familiarity with Spanish and English
