Job Responsibilities
As a Team Lead - Data Entry Operations, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading Daily Operations: Manage data entry teams through coordination of priorities, resources, and shifting workloads to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Providing Direction and Mentorship: Offer guidance, support, and performance feedback to Lead Data Entry Specialists and staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Overseeing Hiring, Training, and Development: Recruit, train, and develop seasonal and full-time staff, ensuring readiness and knowledge retention across teams.
- Driving Process Optimization: Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement process updates, and adopt new technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Analyzing Productivity and Quality Metrics: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, identify trends or risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Ensuring Compliance and Security: Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures while reinforcing data integrity, security, and compliance standards.
- Representing the Team: Participate in cross-departmental meetings, leadership forums, and special projects, offering insight and advocating for operational needs.
- Developing Training Plans: Create training programs to evaluate team capabilities and build internal pipelines for advancement and skill growth.
- Acting as Primary Escalation Point: Serve as the primary point of contact for complex data entry issues and staffing challenges.
- Serving as Acting Supervisor: Support departmental continuity by acting as supervisor during higher leadership absences.
Essential Qualifications
* Leadership Experience: 2-4 years in a Lead role within Data Entry or equivalent role, with 0-2 years of formal leadership experience (team supervision, project management, or department coordination).
- Education: Degree preferred but not required with commensurate leadership experience.
- Advanced Data Entry Skills: Strong accuracy and speed in data entry, with proficiency in computer systems and data platforms.
- Communication and Analytical Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operations.
