Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Conover, NC. As a key member of our accounting department, you'll be responsible for accurately entering financial data, maintaining records, and supporting accounting operations with a focus on speed and accuracy. Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Input and manage invoices, bills, payments, and other financial transactions in QuickBooks: Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial data to maintain a seamless accounting process.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions: Verify and reconcile financial statements to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Maintain and update customer and vendor records: Keep customer and vendor information up-to-date and accurate to facilitate smooth business operations.
- Generate financial reports and assist with monthly close processes: Provide critical support in generating financial reports and assisting with the monthly close process.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all entries: Maintain the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial entries.
- Communicate with team members and vendors to resolve discrepancies: Collaborate with team members and vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- Organize and file financial documents both digitally and physically: Maintain a well-organized and secure filing system for financial documents.
- Support the accounting department with other clerical and administrative tasks as needed: Provide general support to the accounting department as required.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent: A minimum educational requirement to ensure a strong foundation in basic math and computer skills.
- Proven experience using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop): A must-have for this role, as you'll be working extensively with QuickBooks.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential in this role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel: Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is necessary for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively: Self-motivation and excellent time management skills are crucial for success in this role.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills: Strong organizational and communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with team members and vendors.
