Job Description
As a Virtual Design Chat Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to customer inquiries and providing design solutions via live chat
- Utilizing your design expertise to help customers create their dream homes
- Closing deals on design purchases
- Working closely with other departments to resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service
- Developing written customer responses and providing product or service information
- Projecting a professional company image through text chat interaction
- Categorizing and assigning chat sessions appropriately
- Performing other duties assigned

Essential Functions
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Troubleshoot and respond to customer inquiries within 5 seconds
- Multi-task and handle 2 to 5 chats at once
- Work closely with other departments to resolve issues
- Assist with developing written customer responses
- Promptly identify, research, and resolve visitor requests using the Internet, OMS, and CCUI
- Project a professional company image through text chat interaction
- Provide visitors with product or service information
- Promote arenaflex products and/or services in a positive way
- Categorize and assign chat sessions appropriately
- Perform other duties assigned
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to:
- Have 3+ months of design experience
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a superior customer service attitude
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Possess strong professional written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and correctly interpret customer requests
- Enjoy working independently with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Possess good self-management and motivation
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Be computer savvy and have the ability to navigate websites and multiple systems while maintaining multiple written conversations
- Possess the ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm
- Practice active listening skills
- Be confident in communicating in English (written and verbal)

- Be able to complete mandatory paid training for 4 weeks with 100% attendance

To work from home, you will need to have:
- A full-size or all-in-one desktop personal computer or a traditional laptop personal computer that meets the minimum specifications listed below

- Windows 11 Home, Windows 11 Pro, or Windows 11 Pro for Workstations
- Mac IOS 12 or newer
- A webcam for training and meetings
- An external mouse (wired preferred)
- A keyboard (wired preferred)
- A USB headset (wired required – wireless/Bluetooth headsets not acceptable)
- A "Unified Communications" type headset or a "Gaming" headset that meets the requirements
