About arenaflex's Patient Billing Customer Service Department
arenaflex's Patient Billing Customer Service department within the Revenue Cycle Management Division is seeking energetic, passionate customer service-focused individuals who seek solutions to challenging patient billing issues. Responsibilities
As an Experienced Patient Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Answering 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and/or private insurance carriers
- Initiating payment plans for patients with outstanding balances
- Routinely utilizing multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone
- Maintaining performance goals
- Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1+ year work experience required
- Previous work in medical billing, customer service, insurance claims, EOB, call center, fast-paced environment strongly preferred
- Previous work in high-volume calls environment with several computer windows open highly desirable
- Previous interaction and communications with patients regarding medical information strongly preferred
Technical/Other Requirements
To work remotely, you'll need:
- Internet download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second connectivity required
- Ability to connect equipment to router/modem with Ethernet cord
- Dedicated area to perform duties without interference
- Ability to manage time and tasks independently while maintaining productivity

Pay Range and Benefits
The pay range for this role is $15.25-16.00 or State/Local minimum wage, if higher. All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Benefits include comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
Work Schedule and Shift Differential
The shift for this position will be Monday-Friday; 11am-8pm (EST) which is 10am-7pm CST and 9am-6pm (MST) and 8am-5 pm (PST). During training, the hours will be 9am-6pm EST. Offers shift differential – 11AM-8PM (EST) shift - 10% Shift Differential for residents in Eastern time zone.
