The Role
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date data for our healthcare clients. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our data management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Enter, update, and maintain large volumes of medical and billing data into our database systems
- Cross-reference and verify data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Generate reports and summaries from databases for management and operational use
- Work closely with other team members to streamline data entry processes and ensure compliance with company protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Conduct regular data quality audits to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies
- Maintain organized digital files to ensure quick access for review, audits, or updates
Requirements:
* 2+ years of data entry experience, preferably in a healthcare or administrative environment
- Excellent typing and data entry accuracy (minimum of 50 WPM strongly preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, and experience with data management systems
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with acute attention to detail
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and confidentiality practices preferred
- Ability to work independently in meeting deadlines while adhering to organizational standards
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems
