Job Summary
As a Field Service Manager for Mobility Customer Service, you'll be responsible for leading a team of technical support specialists to deliver exceptional service to our customers in the rail industry. You'll work closely with our project managers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our technical support and spares agreements (TSSSA) are met, and that our customers' operational goals are aligned with our own. You'll also be responsible for developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of technical support specialists to deliver exceptional service to our customers in the rail industry
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with project managers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure that TSSSA are met and customers' operational goals are aligned with our own
- Provide oversight for performance, training, and career development of site managers and field technicians
- Promote positive collaborative relationships across the team, with customers, RAMP, Projects, and Materials departments
- Adopt a continuous improvement mentality in how the Field Service team can operate more efficiently, effectively, and drive increased customer satisfaction
- Provide feedback to the team regarding performance, quality, and efficiency issues
- Ensure that standard processes are shared between sites and shared with other teams
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical field of study preferred (or equivalent experience)
- A minimum of three years of comparable work experience in maintenance management within the rail industry
- Experience in running and leading multi-functional teams in a rail environment
- Detailed technical knowledge, theoretical and practical operation of the system and components of rolling stock vehicles
- Solid understanding of maintenance management, familiarity with the locomotive industry, equipment, terminology, and regulatory obligations
- Demonstrated leadership, ability, and initiative
- Well-demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Prior application of continuous improvement techniques and principles
- Familiarity with PM@Siemens, Project Management Professional (PMP)®, or other Project Management methodology and terminology
- Familiarity of OSHA Law and Regulations and the Code of Federal Regulations CFR-49
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Experience with Siemens' products and services
- Familiarity with the rail industry and its regulatory requirements
- Experience with project management and team leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

Compensation and Benefits
* The base salary range for this position in Charlotte, NC is $122,100-$164,800
- The annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary
