Experienced Customer Service Representative – Student Health Insurance Support (West Coast) – Pacific Time Zone

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Wellfleet, MA. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in supporting student health products administered by arenaflex. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and healthcare providers regarding student health insurance products - Learn the basics of insurance and navigate the LuminX claim system to effectively resolve customer inquiries - Understand the student health insurance products serviced at arenaflex and provide accurate information to customers - Meet and/or exceed productivity standards while maintaining a positive and professional attitude - Demonstrate a sense of urgency to ensure calls are answered within queue standards and adhere to deadlines/turn-around times - Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors to resolve issues and concerns - Respond to email inquiries in a timely and professional manner - Perform other duties as assigned or as situation dictates
We are looking for candidates with:
- A minimum of one year's work experience in customer service, preferably in a health insurance setting, medical billing office, coding with a healthcare provider, or related field - Effective communication skills and the ability to be patient, resilient, and stress-tolerant - A customer-focused approach with a genuine interest in helping others - Cooperative and team-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service - Mature, responsible, and dependable with a focus on attention to detail - Above-average computer proficiency skills with the ability to type - Stable work history and excellent phone etiquette skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining integrity and quality of service
