About the Job

As a Customer Administrative Specialist, Government (Remote - Virginia), you'll be responsible for developing a portfolio of buying customers through outbound sales contact and pursuing sales leads. Your primary objectives will include:

  • Making outbound sales contact (including cold calling) and pursuing sales leads to develop a portfolio of buying customers
  • Accepting orders, closing sales, maintaining customer records, and completing required documentation
  • Identifying and qualifying prospective customers as well as recording sales prospecting activity in salesforce
  • Representing an assigned product line that may overlap other sales teams' territories, if applicable
  • Working with territory/account, product/services, or sales processes with limited complexity
  • Informing customers of new product/service introductions and prices
  • Maintaining communication with the Sales Director and Team Lead
  • Maintaining a proficient understanding of Accurint and the ability to demonstrate platform and discuss pricing plans

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to develop an understanding of key business drivers and apply this knowledge in your work
  • Ability to multitask and respond effectively to changing priorities and/or situations
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in use of Salesforce and other internal operational systems
  • Ability to present information in an appropriate style and make technical information clear
  • Ability to persuade others/clients in standard situations
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
