Total Compensation Package

Our total compensation package includes:

  • Annual Base Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

As an Insurance Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering phones and greeting walk-in clients with a polite and professional manner
  • Assisting current customers with service-related tasks, including but not limited to processing payments, making changes to existing policies, troubleshooting billing questions, and assisting with the claims process
  • Assisting the sales team to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience
  • Having an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Asking each customer for referrals and recommendations
  • Treating each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity, including financial products (commissions available for any sales completed by the CSR!)
  • Maintaining client relationships with follow-up phone calls
  • Scheduling appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
  • Managing and maintaining a positive office environment and performing any other office-related tasks

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • A minimum of 1 year of P&C Industry Experience
  • A proven track record of dependability and reliability – showing up to work as scheduled, on time
  • A desire to want to help educate others on insurance – how and why it's important to have the proper coverage
  • An upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Great self-starter with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to create relationships from a cold start and handle customer rejection
  • Ability to answer prospective clients' questions efficiently and effectively
  • Proficiency in multi-tasking, follow-thru, and follow-up
  • Excellent Communication/Interpersonal skills
