Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Care Outfitter to join our team in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. As a Customer Care Outfitter, you'll be responsible for providing legendary customer service through multiple channels, including voice, email, and chat. You'll handle customer contacts, resolve issues, and provide first-call resolution for a wide range of customer inquiries. If you're a strong communicator with a passion for problem-solving and a knack for building strong relationships, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle customer contacts through multiple channels, including voice, email, and chat
- Resolve customer issues and provide first-call resolution for a wide range of customer inquiries
- Utilize advanced skills training, system programs, and desktop resources to assist customers from all business channels
- Empower customers to find solutions beyond established processes to resolve complex customer service situations
- Capitalize on opportunities to secure sales, including offering preferred products, suggesting similar items, and asking for orders on gift card balance contacts
- Review and research CRD Field Guide, arenaflex websites, catalogs, and other programs, tools, and resources to ensure up-to-date information on promotions, system changes, processes, and company programs
- Utilize feedback and coaching to maximize performance and develop skills to move through the career path opportunities
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational tech certification or associate's degree preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in business administration or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking skills and effective customer service skills
- Ability to work on a team and independently
- Ability to hear well enough to communicate with customers and co-workers
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or outdoor industry setting
- Knowledge of and familiarity with basic computer use, Microsoft Office, and web navigation
- Ability to write, type, and use multi-channel systems
- Ability to read documents, reports, computer screens, and other written communication
- Ability to effectively interpret and manage difficult situations
