Your Day as a Pharmaceutical Data Entry Clerk

As a Pharmaceutical Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will have a critical responsibility in maintaining precise medication and patient information for our long-term care facilities. Your role will involve:

• Ensuring accurate and timely entry of prescription and medication orders
• Maintaining precise medication administration records (MARs) and patient profiles
• Collaborating closely with facility staff to address special billing needs, refill requests, and medication-related issues
• Maintaining effective communication with healthcare professionals
• Ensuring compliance with facility-specific protocols and deadlines

Your Schedule

As a full-time Pharmaceutical Data Entry Clerk, you will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime or weekend work. We offer a relaxed work environment and dress code, allowing you to focus on your work without unnecessary distractions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy technician license or eligibility to a pharmacy technician program
• Experience in data entry, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting serving long-term care facilities
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices related to medication dispensing and documentation in long-term care settings
• Willingness to comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols
• Willingness to complete annual education online requirements
• Willingness to abide by the code of conduct and ensure that all activities are conducted ethically following applicable laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience with framework and additional education or certification in pharmacy technology or healthcare administration are preferred.
