Power BI Developer (No C2C, W2 Only)
Power BI Developer / Data Visualization Analyst Location: Remote (Chicago, IL area preferred Northbrook proximity is a plus) Employment: Contract (W2 only) Position Summary We are seeking a Power BI Developer / Data Visualization Analyst to support reporting and analytics initiatives for a healthcare-focused organization. This role will focus on building scalable dashboards, transforming data into actionable insights, and supporting business stakeholders with reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports Translate business requirements into data models and visualizations Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting needs Support ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests Maintain documentation for dashboards, data sources, and logic Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboards) Experience working with SQL and relational databases Ability to work with large datasets and optimize performance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience gathering requirements and working with business users Excellent communication skills Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience with Qlik Sense (not required) Healthcare or insurance domain experience Familiarity with data warehousing concepts Experience working in a remote, distributed team Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
