Experienced Customer Experience Assistant, Sales – Luxury Jewelry Retail

Responsibilities
As a Customer Experience Assistant, Sales, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer experiences, meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment
- Assisting customers in finding their best jewelry match from our luxury product line
- Utilizing sales strategies and forward-thinking problem-solving techniques to guide customers through multiple purchasing decisions
- Proactively greeting, checking-in, and assisting customers in the purchasing process, creating a memorable, one-on-one customer experience that reflects our luxury brand and product quality
- Managing a high volume of incoming sales leads to attain individual and team goals and revenue targets
- Responding to online customer inquiries and providing sales assistance through live chats, phone calls, and email
- Developing and demonstrating product knowledge as it pertains to our diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry
- Conducting post-sale appointments to assist and educate customers returning for pick-ups, exchanges, re-sizing, and other inquiries
- Reviewing customer feedback surveys and online reviews, working with your leaders to continuously improve the customer experience and your sales performance
- Maintaining luxury showroom appearance, cleanliness, and organization, including executing new product merchandising guidelines
- Serving as the liaison for all facilities maintenance projects for the location, including troubleshooting and performing minor repairs as needed
- Sending and receiving product from our distribution center, customers, and external vendors while reconciling inventory within our computer system and maintaining organization
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A passion for the customer and a drive to exceed goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
- Strong product knowledge and ability to develop and demonstrate product knowledge
- Experience with an ERP or CRM system (bonus points if you have experience with our system)
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent (bonus points if you have a degree in a relevant field)
- A passion for socially and environmentally responsible organizations and products
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a sales or customer-facing role in a retail or e-commerce environment
- Knowledge of luxury jewelry and fine gemstones
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online sales channels
