The Role

As a Seasonal Remote Customer Service Agent, you will be part of our highly collaborative and dynamic team, working from the comfort of your own home office. You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting our field offices and customers through inbound and outbound sales, customer service, retention, chat, and bilingual support
  • Managing customer relationships to ensure best-in-class service and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
  • Assisting customers with remedies to retain business and resolving billing and customer credit issues
  • Scheduling new termite inspections and making outbound welcome calls to new customers
  • Utilizing gamification tools to measure performance and increase engagement virtually
  • Working a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays to ensure consistent support for our customers

Qualifications

* High School/GED

  • 1-2 years customer service experience within or outside a call center
  • Completion of a Culture Index assessment
  • Verification of internet speed
  • Ability to pass a computer assessment
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screen
  • Appropriate workspace in your home, private/semiprivate home-office space free of distractions and background noise
  • A workspace with adequate furnishings (e.g., a desk and chair) and lighting
  • Minimum of 50 mbps download/20 mbps upload or higher, high-speed internet connection with the ability to hard wire directly to a modem

Skills and Competencies

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong computer skills in various software and web-based applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume role
  • Excellent customer service soft skills such as empathy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
