Overview of the Role

As a Retail Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You'll be the face of our brand, providing top-notch customer service, and ensuring that every customer leaves our store feeling confident, excited, and equipped to achieve their dreams. Key Responsibilities

* Greet every customer and teammate with a smile, and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.

• Serve as the primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management.
• Provide register coverage as needed and ensure strong customer service standards are met by supporting cashiers through complex transactions.
• Assist the manager with department scheduling, directing workflow, daily associate assignments, and monitoring department presentation standards.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards.
• Promote and provide training to new and current teammates on company programs, such as customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, and more.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of all company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

* Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience is preferred.

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
