Job Description
As a Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for providing timely, courteous, and knowledgeable service to our customers while maintaining a strong store partnership with our Loss Prevention department. You'll understand operational procedures and deter acts of dishonesty within established customer service guidelines. Your role will be to:
- Provide an effective deterrent to theft through customer engagement and a professional and knowledgeable presence
- Observe accurate checkout procedures for customers and Associates
- Communicate shrink-related concerns to Store Management and Loss Prevention
- Maintain an effective partnership with Store Management and Loss Prevention to accomplish work assignments and overall goals and objectives
- Coordinate and complete shrink-related activities in partnership with Store Management
- Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs
- Promote a culture of honesty and integrity; maintain confidentiality
- Encourage Associate use of shrink reduction resources
- Promote safety awareness and support maintenance of a safe environment
- Follow through on commitments; accomplish goals with minimum supervision
- Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
