Job Summary

As a 30-hour Floater Pharmacist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in our pharmacy team, providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on medication use, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions. Key Responsibilities

* Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction

  • Provide expert counseling to patients on medication use, including proper dosing, potential side effects, and interactions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in medication therapy management (MTM) programs to optimize patient care and reduce medication-related errors
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Stay current with new medications, therapies, and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on medication use and disease management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and pharmacy operations

Essential Qualifications

* Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution

  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Tennessee
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and pharmacy management systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with medication therapy management (MTM) programs and disease state management

  • Certification in a specialty area, such as pediatrics or gerontology
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations
  • Experience with pharmacy automation systems and robotic dispensing technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
