Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Greeting customers and providing a warm and welcoming experience
• Operating the register, handling cash and credit transactions, and processing returns and exchanges
• Making purchase suggestions and promoting products to customers
• Working with our food program and maintaining a clean and organized store environment
• Interacting with customers daily, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues that may arise
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve daily goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
• Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Retail and customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a proven track record of driving sales and providing excellent customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

• Experience working in a retail environment, with a focus on customer service and sales
• Knowledge of retail systems and technology, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds
• Physical stamina to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with occasional bending and twisting

Physical Requirements

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be required to:

• Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
• Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
• Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
• Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
• Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination
