Key Responsibilities

As an LP Customer Service Associate in Lancaster, OH, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new arrivals, and making recommendations to customers
  • Collaborating with the Loss Prevention team to identify and prevent shoplifting, as well as ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment, adhering to arenaflex's safety protocols, and reporting any incidents or concerns to management
  • Participating in visual merchandising, inventory management, and other store operations as needed
  • Working effectively in a team environment, providing support and assistance to colleagues as required
  • Maintaining a high level of productivity, meeting sales and customer service targets, and contributing to the overall success of the store

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and safely around the store

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience, particularly in a Loss Prevention or security role
  • Knowledge of arenaflex's brands and products, as well as industry trends and best practices
  • Experience with inventory management, visual merchandising, and other store operations
  • Certification in Loss Prevention or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in multiple languages
