Job Summary

As a Customer Service Associate in our Medicaid Call Center, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met with accuracy, efficiency, and compassion. You'll be responsible for handling a high volume of customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information on a range of topics related to Medicaid services. Key Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions

  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, resolving issues and providing information on Medicaid services
  • Evaluate information received from clients to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex customer issues
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and knowledge
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse clients and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate information and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a Medicaid or healthcare setting

  • Knowledge of Medicaid services and policies
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (English and Spanish preferred)
  • Experience with customer service software and technology, including CRM systems and phone systems
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
