Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers
- Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items
- Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
- Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records
- Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader
- Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss
- Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products)
- Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
- Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves)
- Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products
- Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance
- Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers
Training & Personal Development
As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to:
- Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate
- Develop your skills and knowledge in customer service, sales, and operations

Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will need:
- To be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- To be willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
- To have a high school diploma or equivalent
- To have six months of experience in a retail environment (preferably with arenaflex)
- To have prior work experience with arenaflex (preferably in a customer-facing role)
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- To be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- To have prior work experience with arenaflex (preferably in a customer-facing role)
- To have six months of experience in a retail environment
- To have a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
