Job Summary

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. You will be responsible for operating a cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. You will also model and share customer service best practices with all team members to ensure that we maintain our high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate a cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently

  • Provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
  • Answer questions and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Model and share customer service best practices with all team members
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous retail experience

  • Experience working with cash handling systems and point-of-sale technology
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus
