Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Prescription Data Entry Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. As a Prescription Data Entry Technician, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering patient prescription data into our electronic health records system. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 10:30am to 7pm CST. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $21 per hour, quarterly incentive bonuses, and plenty of growth opportunities for motivated and dedicated individuals.
Key Responsibilities
As a Prescription Data Entry Technician at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Accurately and efficiently enter patient prescription data into our electronic health records system
- Verify patient information and prescription details to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient prescriptions and medication history
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to patient prescriptions
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field; experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic health records systems
