Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Operator to join our team in Worcester, MA. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and timely entering demographic data on daily specimen batches, generating and checking computerized reports for data accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service to authorized medical personnel. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Operator at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

• Accurately and timely enter demographic data on daily specimen batches into our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Generate and check computerized reports for data accuracy
• Assist in printing and processing patient reports to physicians and hospitals
• Maintain and update physician information in LIMS
• Use imaging software to scan filter paper requisitions and documents into LIMS
• Update doctor's information in the database
• Assist in accessioning newly arrived specimens in the specimen processing section, as required
• Maintain confidentiality of all records by shredding old lab specimen requisitions, patient reports, and other documents containing patient information, following document storage policies
• Perform other duties assigned as necessary

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• General knowledge of personal computers
• Ability to type 50 words per minute with an accuracy of at least 90%
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
