We're excited to announce an immediate opening for a Customer Business Manager II, a remote sales home office role that can be based in the Central, Mid West, or Western part of the US.

Position Overview

As a Customer Business Manager II, you'll be part of our Strategic Teams, supporting Albertsons and driving the achievement of strategic account OGSM's. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering customer plans to achieve objectives within budget and short- and long-term solutions through best practice thought leadership
  • Primary and day-to-day selling interface at customer HQ, penetrating the highest level within the customer organization, including deal negotiations
  • Delivering creative solutions and thought leadership for retail customers
  • Execution of sales plans while managing financial controls in our trade system

Responsibilities

* Develop and execute customer plans to achieve sales volume objectives, promotional execution, account level distribution targets, retail price management, and execution of retail controllables

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including Albertsons divisions
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to capitalize on them
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to drive business results
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences, and use this knowledge to inform sales strategies and tactics
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity, and use this knowledge to inform sales strategies and tactics

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field

  • 6 years of sales, marketing, or related experience, with a minimum of 4 years of experience successfully managing a customer base
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiating, and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Experience utilizing Trade Promotion Management (TPM) systems for comprehensive annual business plan building and financial management
  • Expert knowledge of procedures and concepts within the Sales function, as well as basic knowledge in other areas, such as sales operations, supply chain, and marketing

Preferred Qualifications

* Expert knowledge of arenaflex products, mix, and impact to profit, as well as awareness of store conditions and current and best practices within the area

  • Familiarity with Periscope/DemandTec for customer-level deal entry and promotional execution

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role is $103,520 - $181,150 per year, depending on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to a competitive compensation package, permanent employees of arenaflex are eligible for our extensive Total Rewards programs, which include:
