Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in West Caldwell, NJ. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service to our customers. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication, efficient issue resolution, and a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing accurate and timely responses to their questions and concerns. - Resolve customer issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. - Utilize strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management. - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including complaints, issues, and resolutions. - Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless communication, efficient issue resolution, and a positive customer experience. - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, company policies, and procedures to provide informed and accurate responses to customer inquiries. - Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance customer service skills and stay current with industry trends.

Essential Qualifications

- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the appliance service industry. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management. - Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. - Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in computer software, including CRM systems, email, and Microsoft Office. - Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable). - Availability to work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a Whirlpool Factory Authorized service center or similar environment. - Knowledge of appliance repair and maintenance procedures. - Certification in customer service or a related field. - Bilingual or multilingual skills (English and Spanish, for example). - Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
