Responsibilities

As a Shopify Data Entry & Order Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Manage product listings on the Shopify platform: Ensure that all product information is accurate and up-to-date, including product descriptions, prices, and images.
  • Process customer orders promptly and accurately: Handle customer orders from start to finish, including processing payments, updating order statuses, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Update inventory levels regularly: Ensure that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date to avoid overselling and ensure that customers receive their orders on time.
  • Provide light customer service duties: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any order-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adhere to data entry standards: Maintain accuracy and consistency across all Shopify records, ensuring that data entry is accurate and efficient.
  • Assist in the implementation of best practices for data management and order processing workflow: Collaborate with the e-commerce operations team to implement best practices and improve processes to ensure seamless order processing and data management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms: You'll need to have hands-on experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms, including managing product listings, processing orders, and updating inventory levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing: You'll need to be meticulous and detail-oriented, ensuring that data entry is accurate and efficient, and that orders are processed promptly and accurately.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills: You'll need to be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, especially Excel/Sheets for data management: You'll need to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, including Excel/Sheets for data management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment: You'll need to be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with the e-commerce operations team to implement best practices and improve processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills: You'll need to be able to communicate effectively with team members and customers, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service: You'll need to be proactive in resolving issues and delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive their orders on time and with a positive experience.
