Experienced Desktop Support Specialist – Network Infrastructure and End-User Computing

This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure and end-user computing systems. Job Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing daily technical support for network infrastructure and end-user computing systems. Your primary duties will include:
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to desktops, laptops, servers, and network devices
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, software applications, and hardware devices
- Providing technical assistance to end-users via phone, email, chat, and in-person support
- Conducting site visits to investigate technical issues and perform equipment installations or upgrades as needed
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall system performance
- Maintaining accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and customer interactions
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field
Key Obligations:
* Respond to customer support requests and determine the technical issue (i.e., software or hardware related) and maintain trust in TSG
- Communicate with customers via phone to discuss recognized issues or concerns and resolve the issues (e.g., equipment or software glitch, user error, etc.)
- Investigate recognized issues by gathering information, assessing online resources, or reviewing internal documentation to identify solutions and work towards resolution
- Conduct site visits within the region to investigate issues and install or upgrade equipment and software as needed
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues were resolved completely
- Complete service orders to prevent functional delays in resolving issues
Essential and Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in desktop support, network administration, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (client/server)
- Experience with Cisco VPN, Citrix, Phantom, Symantec, and other internet browsers
- Specialized certifications such as A+, Network+, or MCP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills and Competencies:
* Ability to convey highly technical information to both technical and non-technical customers
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, end-user computing systems, and software applications
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with internal teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:
Our compensation package reflects the cost of living across various US geographic markets. The base salary for this position ranges from $23.85/hour to $38.75/hour, depending on market area and individual qualifications. Employed candidates may be eligible for annual momentary and long-term incentive programs, subject to individual performance, team performance, and company performance.
