The Role

We're seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all clients, including renting storage units and parking spaces, handling payments, and maintaining accurate and detailed customer account notes. You'll also have the opportunity to work independently, with a "customer first" mindset, and make a real impact in a small, community-focused business.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience

  • Rent storage units and parking spaces, upsell merchandise, and handle payments in person and over the phone
  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer account notes, ensuring seamless communication and record-keeping
  • Report customer and property issues to the property manager, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining a safe and secure environment
  • Clean vacated units and maintain overall property cleanliness, ensuring a clean and organized facility
  • Perform lock checks and walk the property (up to 1–2 miles/day), ensuring the security and integrity of our facility
  • Assist the property manager with various tasks and projects, including administrative duties and special events

Requirements

* Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to commute to our facility in Alpharetta, GA
  • Ability to pass a background check, ensuring the safety and security of our clients and employees
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance, with the ability to perform physical tasks as needed
