Job Summary

As a Customer Service/Sales professional at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assessing customer needs, and providing assistance to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and close sales. You will also be responsible for maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring a clean, shop-able, and safe environment for customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs and providing assistance to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction

• Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell an entire project
• Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department
• Handle basics in adjacent departments, including Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring a clean, shop-able, and safe environment for customers and colleagues
• Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
• Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

• 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and safely in a warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a retail or sales environment, with a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences

• Knowledge of building materials, tools, and equipment, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
