Key Responsibilities

As a Work-From-Home Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Listening to customers, understanding their needs, and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilizing our systems and technology to complete account management tasks and provide exceptional customer experiences
  • Recognizing sales opportunities and applying sales skills to upgrade customer accounts
  • Explaining and positioning our products and processes with customers in a clear and concise manner
  • Escalating customer dissatisfaction with our managerial team to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensuring first call resolution through effective problem-solving and call handling

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating system
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues
  • Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation
  • Customer service-oriented with empathy, responsiveness, patience, and conscientiousness
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with change and ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Previous customer service experience in a call center or retail environment
  • Sales experience or training
  • Knowledge of CRM software and customer relationship management principles
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Certification in customer service or sales
