Job Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Trainee, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving, investigating, and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
- Handling customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone, chat, email, and Teams
- Ensuring all customer communication is clearly documented
- Educating callers to ensure resolution is achieved on first contact
- Participating in required testing and training programs
- Working independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Adhering to assigned schedules and working overtime as required
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a customer service support role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Independent, sound decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to talk and type simultaneously in a clear and concise manner while interacting with customers
Training and Development
As a Customer Service Trainee, you will participate in a 12-14 week training program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role. The training program will cover topics such as:
- Customer service principles and best practices
- Medicare and health insurance regulations
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management and productivity techniques
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving strategies

However, you will be required to participate in on-site training sessions and may be scheduled to work from our office in Chattanooga, TN. Compensation and Perks

- A salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
