Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering incoming calls from customers and providing exceptional customer service
- Reviewing customer history as necessary to ensure accurate and personalized support
- Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure compliance and consistency
- Helping customers change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, request refunds, or report travel issues
- Processing refunds and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues
- Documenting information and outcomes as necessary to ensure accurate record-keeping
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry or a related field
- Strong geographical knowledge and a passion for travel
- Excellent customer service skills, including strong communication, listening, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong typing skills and proficiency in using the internet and navigating multiple applications
- Self-directed and able to organize, prioritize, and anticipate situations to ensure seamless customer support
